How MexiCash Replaced a Hard-Coded Static Site with a WordPress Platform Built to Convert
MexiCash, a licensed personal-loan app in Mexico, had a new design and nowhere to put it. The existing site was hand-coded HTML deployed from a GitHub repository, which meant every copy change, promo and legal update went through a developer. There was no blog on the main domain, no help center, and no way to see which pages were driving app installs.
Skyfield Digital took the Figma designs and turned them into a fully editable WordPress platform in six weeks from kickoff to launch: core marketing pages, a migrated blog, help center, legal and transparency pages, referral and top-up sections, and GA4 conversion tracking for every app download, WhatsApp, phone and email click. In the first eight weeks after launch the new site handled 49,769 sessions and recorded 11,851 conversions, and organic clicks rose 37% in the first full month.

The Challenge
MexiCash had outgrown its website before the redesign was finished. The live site was static HTML in a GitHub repository: no CMS, no blog on the main domain, no help center, and every promo, rate change and legal update needed a developer. The client had new Figma designs they liked and a hard requirement that the loan app itself could not be disrupted.
What they needed was a build that matched the designs, could be edited by their own team, kept the search equity the old URLs had earned, and could show which pages actually produced app downloads.
The Build
We treated it as a platform build, not a template swap: match the designs exactly, make everything editable, migrate without losing rankings, launch behind the client's routing, and instrument the site so it reports on installs.
- 01
Review, plan, build
Kickoff was June 15. Once the Figma files arrived we reviewed them for feasibility and search structure, confirmed the page inventory in writing, then built the home, security, invite and earn, blog, help, privacy and terms pages in Elementor on the Hello theme, fully responsive and in Spanish.
- 02
Migrate and route
The blog moved into the same install with 93 posts across five categories. We submitted the URL list, the client pointed its proxy at the WordPress origin for marketing pages while the app paths stayed on their servers, and the legacy www URLs were redirected to the new structure.
- 03
Instrument, test, launch
GTM and GA4 conversions for app download, WhatsApp, phone and email clicks were set up and tested, Rank Math, Organization schema and sitemaps went live, and the site passed cross-browser and device QA with Lighthouse SEO at 100 and accessibility at 97. Full production launch was July 28, with collections, loans, FAQ and transparency pages added in the following weeks.
Figma designs brought to life
MexiCash supplied the designs. We reviewed them for responsive behavior and search structure, then built every page in Elementor on the Hello theme so it renders as designed on mobile, tablet and desktop, all in Spanish.
Editable by the MexiCash team
Reusable templates and editable components mean rates, promos, media logos and legal copy can be changed in WordPress without a developer or a repo deploy. A written authoring guide covers publishing, images, Elementor edits and SEO fields.
Blog migrated in one move
The existing articles moved into the same install and were organized into five Spanish categories, with 93 posts live at launch and 109 today.
Launched through the client's own routing
Marketing pages are served from the WordPress origin through MexiCash's proxy while the app's own paths stay on their servers, so the site went live without touching the loan platform.
Conversion tracking from day one
GTM and GA4 fire app download clicks (with AppsFlyer attribution on the Google Play link), WhatsApp, phone and email clicks as conversions, feeding the CMO dashboard.
Search and AI ready at launch
Lighthouse SEO 100/100 and accessibility 97/100 at launch, Rank Math, Organization schema with the legal entities and contact points, XML sitemaps and redirects from the legacy www paths.
The Results
The site went from kickoff to full production launch in six weeks, including a design delivery delay that pushed the build window into the second half of July. In the first eight weeks after launch it handled 49,769 sessions and recorded 11,851 conversions, most of them app download clicks, and Search Console clicks rose 37% in the first full month. The MexiCash team can now publish and edit pages themselves, and the trust content that lives on the platform is what earned the search and AI results covered in the SEO / GEO case study.
