The Ghanem Clinic is a private aesthetic medicine and surgery practice on Upper Wimpole Street in London, led by Professor Ali Ghanem, whose signature Snatched Lift endoscopic facelift sits alongside rhinoplasty, tummy tuck, breast surgery and non-surgical treatments. The clinic's current site went live in autumn 2025, so its search visibility had to be built from a fresh start.

Skyfield Digital's program focused on establishing the clinic and its surgeons as the source Google and AI assistants cite. Between March and August 2026, compared with the previous six months, ChatGPT referrals grew 160%, monthly ChatGPT visits rose from 14 in February to 68 in August and ranking keywords in the UK grew 68%.

The Challenge

The Ghanem Clinic’s current site went live in autumn 2025, and Search Console data for it begins on October 27, 2025. That meant no history, a small keyword footprint (22 ranking keywords in the UK in February 2026) and a market where every facelift, rhinoplasty and tummy tuck query in London is contested by established Harley Street practices. The clinic’s real difference, a professor-led practice with a signature endoscopic facelift, was not yet something Google or AI assistants associated with the brand.

Organic search was producing around 34 conversions in six months, and the new site had the usual launch-era issues to work through: sitemap coverage, homepage canonicalization, a few broken internal links and duplicate procedure pages.

The Strategy

Establish the clinicians and the signature procedure as entities, build out the procedure pages, and make the content answer-ready for AI engines.

  1. 01

    Clinician and procedure authority

We strengthened the profile pages for Professor Ali Ghanem, Dr Sami Alhasan and Dr George Christopoulos and the endoscopic facelift, Snatched Lift, rhinoplasty and tummy tuck pages so each answers what the procedure is, who performs it and what to expect. The clinician pages are now among the clinic's top organic landing pages.

  2. 02

    Technical cleanup on Squarespace

We worked through sitemap coverage, homepage canonicalization, broken internal links and duplicate page issues surfaced in monthly audits so the new site could be crawled and indexed cleanly.

  3. 03

    A GEO layer

We wrote patient-question content such as how to tighten sagging skin, structured the procedure pages for direct answers, and tracked ChatGPT and other AI referrals as their own channel from June 2026.

The Results

ChatGPT referrals grew from 80 sessions in September 2025 to February 2026 to 208 between March and August 2026 (+160%), and monthly ChatGPT visits climbed from 14 in February to 68 in August. Since GA4 began tracking AI assistants as a channel in June, it has sent 176 sessions. In the Semrush UK database ranking keywords grew from 22 in February to 37 in August, up from a low of 14 in January.

Organic search recorded 2,009 clicks between March and August 2026 with click-through rate improving from 1.55% in March to 2.06% in August. The homepage, Dr Sami Alhasan's profile and the endoscopic facelift page were the top organic landing pages and produced most of the clinic's organic enquiries.

By the numbers: +160% increase in visits from ChatGPT (80 to 208), +386% increase in monthly ChatGPT visits (14 in February to 68 in August) and +68% increase in ranking keywords (22 to 37) in 6 months.

  • +160%Increase in visits from ChatGPT (80 to 208)
  • +386%Increase in monthly ChatGPT visits (14 in February to 68 in August)
  • +68%Increase in ranking keywords (22 to 37)

AI search visibility

ChatGPT went from an occasional referrer to a steady one: 208 sessions between March and August 2026 against 80 in the prior six months, with monthly visits climbing from 14 in February to 26 in June, 37 in July and 68 in August. Since GA4 began classifying AI assistant traffic as its own channel in June 2026, that channel has sent 176 sessions, 173 of them from ChatGPT, with smaller signals from Gemini, Perplexity and Claude.

ChatGPT

Key Takeaways

  • The playbook: Clinician and procedure authority, Technical cleanup on Squarespace and A GEO layer, run together as one program instead of separate tactics.
  • The headline number: +160% increase in visits from ChatGPT (80 to 208) for The Ghanem Clinic in 6 months.
  • Beyond traffic: +386% increase in monthly ChatGPT visits (14 in February to 68 in August) and +68% increase in ranking keywords (22 to 37), the signals that turn visibility into revenue.
  • AI search: The Ghanem Clinic is now cited by ChatGPT, so the brand shows up when buyers ask AI instead of Google.
  • Why it matters for you: the same approach applies to any med spa business competing for search and AI visibility.
